Let’s Follow our Leader: Five Bible Truths

My Prayer – Father, I confess my dependence upon the Person of the Holy Spirit.  I ask You to give me a new awareness of my need of Him.  Forgive me for the times I have gotten out of line and ignored His leadership in my life.  I now humbly submit to the Holy Spirit.  I ask You, Father, to help me to walk and live in the Spirit.  In Jesus’ Name!

My Confession – Father, I declare my dependence upon the Person of the Holy Spirit.  No longer will I ignore the leading of the Holy Spirit in my life.  I declare that I am a man (woman) of the Spirit.  I declare that the Holy Spirit is my Leader, Teacher, Guide, Comforter, and Friend.  I declare that I am anointed by the Holy Spirit to accomplish the assignment upon my life.  Holy Spirit, I love You.  You are so welcome in my life.  In Jesus’ Name!  Amen!

Things are Now Like They Ought to Be

My prayer – Father, on this Easter Sunday, I rededicate my life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  Help me not to live in fear of any man or any of life’s circumstances.  Help me to live in victory in every area of my life by placing Jesus in the center of everything.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen!
My confession – Father, I declare that Jesus is the Lord of every area of my life.  Your Word says in Proverbs 29:25, “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”  Today, I put my trust in you and declare that I am safe.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen!

Life and Living – Time and Purpose
How to Keep Moving Forward in Life

My prayer – Father, I ask You to help me to be more eternity conscious than I have ever been.  Because I know that I must face this day again, help me to live today in such a way that it will count not only for time but also for eternity.  Help me to walk by faith and not by sight, glancing at temporal things while gazing upon eternal things.  As I meditate upon my appointment at the judgment seat of Christ, cause me to be awakened to the reality of that day and live my life accordingly.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen!

My confession – Father, I declare that I live each day of my life with eternity in view.  I am one who redeems the time in these evil days.  According to Ephesians 4:17, I declare that I am not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.  I am a son of Issachar, I have second sight and therefore, I know what to do.  My prophetic eyes are fixed upon eternal things and I will fight the good fight of faith and finish the course assigned to me.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen!

How to Plead your Case Before God

Isaiah 43:25, 26

 Four points:

                1.            “Put Me in remembrance”

                2.            “Let us plead together”

                3.            “Declare thou”

                4.            “That thou mayest be justified”

The Evidence we are to Present:

                1.            Remind God of His covenant engagements (promises)

                                - “God, Your Word says,….”

                2.            Remind God of the firmness of His promises

                3.            Put the Lord in remembrance of His nature

                4.            Remind God who you are

Life and Living – Time and Purpose - How to Keep Moving Forward in Life

My Prayer – Father, I ask You for both a long and a good life.  Help me to discover Your plan and purpose for my life and redeem the time in these evil days.  I ask You to help me to live every day of my life in context of eternity; seeing the unseen, walking by faith and not by sight and living my life for eternal rewards and not temporal gain.  Help me to keep moving forward even in the challenging circumstances of life.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!

My Confession – Father, I declare that I will live both a long and a good life.  I declare that I walk by faith and not by sight.  My eyes are fixed, not on the things that are seen, but on the things that are unseen.  According to Colossians 3:1, 2, I set my affection on heavenly things, not the things that are on the earth.  I declare that You bless my bread and water and take sickness away from me so that I will fulfill the number of my days in good health and complete the assignment that You have placed upon my life.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!

You and Your Money

My prayer – Father, I thank You that I live in the United States of America, a land of abundance.  I ask You to help me to think about money like You do.  Help me to be a faithful steward of all that You bless me with so that my sphere will widen and grow.  Help me to hear Your voice and obey every time You speak to me about sowing seed because it is my desire not only to enjoy Your blessings, but to be a great blessing to others.  In Jesus’ Name!  Amen!

My confession - Father, I declare that I am blessed to bless.  I not only have enough for myself, I have enough to bless others.  I am a faithful steward over all that You bless me with.  Money is my servant and I am a faithful seed sower.  I recognize that I am an important part of the end-time Gospel Enterprise.  As I sow and reap, I will help to spread the Gospel and prepare the way for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.  In Jesus’ Name!  Amen!

Going Forward Even in a Time of Famine

Genesis 26:1-6, 12-14

My Prayer – Father, I want to thank You for Your promises to keep me, even in a time of famine.  I ask You now to help me to do the right things in a lean time.  Help me not to get confused, discouraged, or afraid and go to a wrong place and miss Your plans and purpose for my life.  Holy Spirit, I ask You to show me what seed I need to sow, so that I will be blessed, increase, go forward, and become great in You.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen!

My Confession – I declare that because I fear the Lord, the eye of the Lord is upon me and He keeps me even in the time of famine.  I confess, I am a sower and listen to and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit.  Because I sow the seed that He tells me to sow in the time of famine, the blessing of the Lord is upon my life and making a difference.  Like Isaac, I am increasing, going forward, becoming great and even my enemies witness the goodness of God upon my life.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen!

Don’t let Things Move You

Acts 20:17-24 - Six Phrases

My Prayer – Father, I ask You to help me to not be moved by anything or anyone that would keep me from fulfilling Your will for my life.  I ask You to help me to follow the leading of both my born-again human spirit and the Holy Spirit.  I bring before You now my desire to finish my course and my ministry assignment with joy.  Father, I ask You to help me to do this, in Jesus’ Name.  Amen!

My Confession – I declare that I have true freedom in Jesus Christ because God’s Word says, “He whom the Son set free is free indeed.”  I have been set free from serving myself and sin and I am free to serve the purpose of God for my life.  Therefore, I will not let THINGS move me, no matter what lies ahead of me.  I declare that I am a prisoner of my own born-again spirit, one hand-cuffed to the will of God for my life.  I declare that the Holy Spirit is my best friend and He is and will continue to help me to finish my course with joy.  In Jesus' name.  Amen!

One Night with the Lions

My Prayer – Father, I ask You to help me to be like Daniel; to be of an excellent spirit and to be full of honesty and integrity.   Help me to be bold and hold my ground in the face of opposition.  In the hour of temptation, help me to not compromise, and be a person of principle rather than a person of expediency.  If ever necessary, I ask You to help me to be like Daniel and stand for You and all righteous causes even if I need to stand alone.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

My Confession – Father, Your Word says in Proverbs 28:1, “The righteous are as bold as a lion.”  Therefore, I declare that I stand for righteousness no matter what the cost.  Like Daniel, I honor You above all men.  I will not bow down to, worship, or pray to anyone or anything other than You.  Because I am a person of integrity and not expediency, I will not compromise the commandments and principles of Your Word.  Even if I have to stand alone, I will stand for You. In jesus' name.  Amen!

New Year’s Eve Service

My Prayer – Lord, help me to tightly hold on to every new beginning you have given me.  When I get tired, weary, or frustrated, please refill me with Your Spirit and Your power so that I keep believing until every promise manifests in my life.  I thank You that You are faithful and that Your Word never fails, so help me to remain faithful to the very end.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!

My Confession – Father, Your Word says in Philippians 1:6 that You bring to completion every good work that You start.  I stand firmly and solidly on this truth for my life.  I confess that I have a faith that is unwavering.  No matter what comes against me, the storms of life, adverse circumstances, people, demons, the devil; I will not throw away my confidence in You.  I will cooperate with the workings of the Holy Spirit in my life I will stand firm to the end.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
